never far behind

just finished my part of a major exercise.. wow looking back im shockeddd at what i accomplished! book in friday, book out sat, go back sunday until earlier tonight when i could come back home. all in all working on a strict shift basis for manning.. doing things over and over again can be boring and regimential at times.. getting things done seems harder, especially when u are the middle man who lacks enthusiasm.. you gota play ur stenghts and know their motivations and work on those things to get the job done.. people say the saf is this and that but in reality, when u go to work, it will very much be the same too. haha and i got this enlightment from none other than nsman! being the ns ict ic, i got the honour of talking and interacting with nsman and i dun blame them for their mentality sometimes.. having being thru all the shit, it jus makes them wana protect themselves more only. if u yourself dun protect your own interests, no one else will.. that is something valuable i learnt.. of course how you do it in the process is another thing.. ive seen nsman who do so, but end up offending all the regulars and their superiors.. conversely, i have also seen those who do so tactfully, which requires skill of course and these people are usually those who hold high position outside and are earning the "big bucks".. something very worthy to take a leaf from their books..

was talking with my sso about camp stuff online.. and a lot of things depends on the system and the people.. the system in the saf is quite dead, fixed.. the officer corps, Wospecs corp, so the only differece is the people and how they react.. looking at trends in the camp and all.. looking back we have really come a long way from the day we entered the camp to now.. taking care of every small thing and big thing.. with or without the help of the regulars.. hai.. many testing moments and many trails, but no doubt i have come nearer and nearer to ORD! now what i cnt wait is to plan and go for the overseas trips in december!! enjoy first before going to work again in 2010, where a whole new journey begin again..
