never far behind

IM GOING TO THAILAND WITH MY CAMP BUDDIES! ok finally after months of empty talk, we have finally booked the trip today during the travel fair at suntech.. we almost did not make it to the booking decision, but nonetheless, we decided to stop procrastinate and jus do it!

first, we sat down at the table of a small tour agency, jus 5 to 6 tables there nia.. we sat there staring at the sales rep.. and they stared back at us.. just when we thought he was going to walk here and serve us, he turned around and walk to the counter to chit chat with his friends!! we were like WTH! (@*!))* he actually think we were jus kids who like was playing a fool and not serious without the buying power to go overseas?! damn him laa.. there were quite a lot of free staff at the counter chatting but none bothered to come over to answer our quries.. until a lady who was the manager came to help us.. IT took a manager to realise our presence.. HAIS.. neext encounter was at the CHAN's brothers booth too.. we took a queue number.. shocked that we were like number 200 in queue, we went to walk around to buy time.. but when it came to our turn, we were damn appalled by the girl's attitude towards us too..
" Where do you want to go. When are you leaving? Whats your budget? What kind of airline do you want to travel?"
whao.. ok we could see that she was like damn black face and wasnt interested in serving us.. so we just "played" on and jus left after 5 minutes.. fine its not like you are the only agency around..

on the brighter side, we also met more positive staff who did not disregard us as jus "kids" and wrote away our desire to get out of the country for a vacation and served us with professionalism! first was the dude at thee CTC booth at marina sq.. he was a good salesman who was the itenary planner in the company.. so he gave us good ideas of what to do and where to go.. i liked the stunned face the girls at the booth gave us when we told them " where can we go with a $500 budget" DA! the opening line in your face.. how would u respond? LOL! secondly, at the ASA booth, we met quite a friendly auntie who despite the monotony of going thru the sales process took the effort to joke with us to liven up the process of buying.. yeah we actually went back there after comparing all the prices of the agencies and at 730pm, went back there to the same auntie to seal the deal..

there at 8pm, with the travel crowd beginning to simmer, and with staff beginning to knock off to go home, we were still busy laughing and joking, making our payment! i met her on my way home at the mrt station and we began chatting too.. lol..
