never far behind

Just back from ktv-ing and drinking a bit here and there! woots :P we( the staff and volunteers from assisi) went to bukit timah sixth avenue afte we knocked off.. we were lucky to have doctor lim who was our "niang" or mother and Doctor Ong who is our "die" or father to join us.. LOL.. thn we who are the youngsters are the children.. so we are like a family with the father, mother and children.. lOL.. ok we get a bit crazy and carried away when having fun.. but when they work, they are really professional and serious.. so i mean that is what make a balance life.. you work hard and play hard. know when to be serious and when to let loose.. we really saw the adults go crazy tonite.. drining alchol and talking rubbish and playing all the finger guessing games and stuff! not forgetting the singing part too.. we sang mostly jay chow songs at the begginnign to warm up our voices.. HAHA! The other groups of people who were there sang very well man.. almost as good as the pop stars themselves.. well i know i can never sing until like the stars.. impossible..i will be glad if i can be half as good as them tho! :PP

I really enjoyed myself tonite la.. the company, the place, the songs and the drinks.. Singing songs can sometimes relief the bottled up feelings you have inside you so u jus vent it all out.. lol.. anw being a doctor is hard from what i see in our "father" and "mother".. they cannot even drink the least of alcohol, not even a drop cost they gota be on call as and when the patient requires.. So throughout the session, they had to find all kinds of means to abstain from the alcohol which the rest are having la.. sometimes its tough to resist such temptation too.. being operational ready at all times reminds me of NS like dat.. lol.. imagine being called up in the middle of the night to go back to the hospital.. ya imagine..

nonetheless, you will feel secure with this group of people.. maybe becos of the differnt age group you have, the older folks will tend to be more fatherly or motherly toowards the younger ones.. so you will like feel loved? LOL! or is it jus because they are doctors and medical social workers? Such that they are able to make people feel comfortable around them.. hmm.. anw im tired and i need to go to NUS open house in like 10 hours time.. so im going to sleep now.. :P
