never far behind

today i was supposed to supervise a bunch of jc kids while they polish the wheelchairs for the hospice.. of course i was trying to tidy up all the details like where should it be held and the materials and where to get the wheelchairs.. my usual planning mindset kicked in for the time being.. and yuan ting overslept until about 12pm so she decided that she din want to take 15 mrt stops down to Novena mrt and then a shuttle bus to the hospice to help me out.. so it was like left me and wai tsun to handle 23 SAJC students and we seriously hoping they will be enthu in cleaning wheelchairs.. a bit hard to expect huh..
But when they came, we saw their teacher, wanyi, who was sooo young la! only mid 20's and also the demure kind. I wonder how she could handle a class of Saints.. LOL! anw the class was very cooperative and the 6 boys were helpful enough to help retrive the wheelchairs from the wards from the 2nd and third flooor.. They were jus very cooperative and wored well together! somehow i could relate very well with them maybe cos i have been thru wat they have been thru and ya we clicked very well lo.. The teacher was also very cute lar.. also took the cloth and began to help by cleaning the wheelchair.. hehe :))

After lunch they began their performance and games which were specially prepared for the old folks in the home care section.. i must say they are quite high bunch and got people who can dance, play the guitar and sing.. not bad huh.. lol.. i also met tiffany from RJ who wai tsun always mention to me.. Only today i realised that there were 3 december babies volunteers and im not the only one.. LOL! we are quite fated together hehe!

After all this, it was my own quiet time where i had to help a patient to rush out his llfe account by typing it out on my laptop.. lol! seriously its a sad story and you can jus cry while typing if you are emo enough lo.. After an hour, our eyes could not take it and we had to have our tea break of chicken pie from hans! Thanks shirlyn! The people there are so nice lar.. at the very least they are sincere in the words they speak and not the kind that do not mean what they say.. Maybe its becos they witness death every now and then that they really cherish life and those around them.. anw break time from typing the patient's story is over.. back to work!! :p
