never far behind

Today was a rather tiring day for me. I met up with hui ting at amk library to teach her the whole statistics sylabbus for her final semester exam. >;<. This was because she has been slacking for the whole semester and playing computer games where lectures were concerned. Tsk! PEople never do last minute work or those friends around you(like me) will be the ones that suffer! Anyway, i must say i am amazed at the accounting people at the poly study! Its comparative to the standard of the A level ok. But the questions they ask is very odd i must say. Anyway, it was a big eye-opener for me!

Wednesday, feburary 13, the day before valentine's day. I read an article about valentine's day on TIMES magazine and it was rather insightful. It criticised the current generation that they do not know how to appreciate valentine's day and treat it as a day which couples spend lavishly on flowers and a romantic dinner. They also said Valentine's day can also be said to be the single's awareness day and it actually alienates those who are single. IT sorts of create the pressure on them to want to find a date or just to get occupied with either work or family. Ya lor.. So for those couples, know how to cherish each other and to spend this day with meaning and not just to go thru the motion of feburary 14!
